Friends of Northleach Church
The Friends of Northleach Church are the fundraising branch of the St Peter and St Paul Northleach Charitable Trust, which was founded in 2005.
Our Story
Born out of necessity, following the fall of masonry from the clerestory windows, our sole objective is to raise funds for the maintenance, repair and restoration of Northleach Church.

We have recently restored the church weathervane, which had rotted at the base and needed regilding; and repaired the chancel roof, which entailed inspecting, securing, restoring or replacing some 3,500 tiles.
Our next project is to repair, rustproof and repaint the rainwater pipes.
How you can help
Contrary to popular belief, the Church of England does not contribute to the upkeep of parish churches - they are deemed the property of the parish and responsibility for their upkeep lies solely with the local Parochial Church Council.

For £20 a year (£30 joint membership) you can support our work and become a Friend of Northleach Church.
Membership leaflets can be found in the church - or downloaded here.
As a Friend, you will receive regular newsletters, updating you on the restoration work undertaken.
And you will also be invited to several events throughout the year, some exclusive to the Friends.
We already have an exciting programme for 2023/24. Sign up here to our events mailing list
